Plan 365 days of content in 5 hours!

I tried posting 90x a WEEK for 30 days – here’s what happened

When I decided to post to social media 90 times a week for 30 days, I expected it to be intense… but I was not prepared for just how intense.

This wasn’t a casual test. I went all in:
✅ 6 platforms
✅ 90 posts per week
✅ Strategy, systems, and spreadsheets galore

The goal? To revive my accounts after a long, health-related hiatus… and to see if a full-blown content sprint could actually move the needle in business.

Why I Did This

After a few years of managing chronic illness, I had shifted my marketing strategy to lower-effort tactics. But in April, I felt ready to hit the gas again, and I didn’t tiptoe in. I dove.

I wanted to know:

  • How much time does content at scale really take?

  • Can I create quality content at this pace?

  • What’s the cost – in both money and energy?

  • And most importantly, does it actually lead to business growth?

So, I set the bar high:

  • 20+ pieces per week on Instagram

  • Shorts, long-form videos, and posts on YouTube

  • Daily posts to LinkedIn, Facebook groups, and Pinterest

With the help of my team and a mountain of templates, I got to work.

How Much Time It Took

Spoiler alert: A lot.

I optimistically thought I could get everything done in 5–7 short workdays. In reality, it took:

  • All of May to prep June’s content

  • Countless hours wrangling content calendars, templates, and team communication

  • Way too much brainpower to keep track of where I was in the process

The hardest part wasn’t the content itself, it was the systems. I spent more time figuring out what was done, what needed doing, and where each piece of content was, than actually creating content. #ADHDbizlife

Behind the Scenes of My Tracking System

I tried multiple systems to stay organized, from emoji-based trackers to calendar views in spreadsheets. Ultimately, I created my own planner that helped me visualize each platform, each day, and each piece of content.

It still wasn’t perfect, but it worked well enough to get through the month. Want to see what it looked like?

The Real Costs

In addition to time, I spent:

  • 💸 $2,000/month on video editing

  • 💸 $2,000 worth of team time on content scheduling and coordination

  • 💸 $500/month for an Instagram mentor

  • ❌ Money wasted on a tracking tool we didn’t end up using

  • ⏱ Countless hours of my own time that I couldn’t even track

All said and done: this sprint was an investment. But was it worth it?

Can You Create Quantity and Quality?

Technically, yes. But not without support.

Because I was experimenting with content formats and topics, I didn’t always have time to implement what I was learning in real-time. Toward the end of the sprint, I started expanding my team to free up creative bandwidth.

With more help? The answer is yes.
Alone? The answer is burnout.

Speaking of Burnout… Let’s Talk Personal Impact

This is where things got rough.

  • My symptoms flared

  • My mood tanked

  • My family time suffered

  • And I definitely didn’t have energy for fun

Even good stress is still stress. And the reality is, a business that costs you your well-being isn’t sustainable.

What Actually Grew?

Here’s a quick recap of each platform:

📱 Instagram:
+453 new followers, a slight increase in views and engagement, ~$100 in sales
Majority of visibility came from ads, not organic posts

📺 YouTube:
Views increased, click-through rate decreased, slight bump in ad revenue, ~$100 in attributed sales

💼 LinkedIn:
+68 followers, tripled impressions, no known sales

📌 Pinterest:
+20% in monthly views, no increase in followers, no known sales

👩‍🏫 Skool Group:
Engagement felt higher, but member growth stayed average and active users decreased

📧 Email List:
+400 subscribers, open and click rates improved significantly
Attribution is tricky, but it’s safe to say email remains one of the highest-converting platforms

The Unexpected Win: My Webinar Funnel

While some platforms saw meh results, one place saw a huge shift:
My live webinar funnel.

Thanks to the increased visibility:

  • Cost per lead dropped from $12–15 to $5–6

  • Show-up rates hit 43%

  • Sales conversion doubled from 5% to 10%

My theory? The volume of content acted as social proof. People saw my ads, checked out my content, got value, and showed up ready to buy.

Will I Keep Going?

Yes. But not in the same way.

I’ve already adjusted:

  • Delegated Pinterest fully

  • Doubled down on what’s working (short reels + carousels)

  • Continued optimizing my systems

I committed to a 90-day sprint, and I will finish it. But I’m learning how to make it sustainable along the way.

Final Thoughts

Posting 90 times a week sounds like a dream for visibility, but the reality is a whole lot messier.

With the right systems, support, and strategy, it’s possible.
But without those things? You’ll burn out before you break through.

If you’re considering a sprint like this in your own business, take this as your permission to scale it to your energy, and not just the algorithm.
