If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by too many software subscriptions, endless logins, or a messy tech stack that doesn’t talk to itself, you might have heard of GoHighLevel (GHL). It promises to be an all-in-one platform that helps you run your entire business — from websites and funnels to payments, automations, and more — all under one roof.
I’ve been using GoHighLevel since earlier this year and, honestly, I really love it. When GHL reached out to sponsor my channel, it was a no-brainer: they’re a sponsor because I genuinely like the platform, not the other way around.
If you’re curious about whether GoHighLevel could simplify your business, I’m going to break down what GHL does, what it doesn’t do perfectly, and who it’s best for. If you’d rather watch me walk through it step-by-step, you can check out the video linked below — or keep reading for the full blog breakdown.
What Is GoHighLevel, and What Can It Do?
Let me put it bluntly: GHL can do a lot. You could easily replace a dozen subscriptions with this one tool. Here’s a taste of what’s built in:
✅ Website builder with beautiful, easy-to-use templates
✅ Landing pages with A/B testing
✅ Sales funnels, webinar funnels, and checkout pages
✅ Forms, surveys, and quizzes with advanced logic
✅ QR codes and chat widgets
✅ Social media planner
✅ Email campaigns and automations
✅ Two-way SMS/text messaging with a real phone number
✅ Trigger links for tracking webinar attendance or actions
✅ Invoicing (including recurring invoices), estimates, contracts, and payment links
✅ Coupons, upsells, order bumps, and abandoned cart tracking
✅ Multi-user booking calendars with automations
✅ Lead management pipelines with automations
✅ Review/reputation tracking and competitor review insights
✅ A fully branded client portal with its own app
✅ Unlimited courses and communities
✅ Mobile app for on-the-go notifications
✅ AI-powered chat agents
The best part? You get all of these tools under a single subscription, with no need to juggle 10–20 different platforms.
So, Can It Really Do Everything Well?
In my experience, GHL delivers incredible value — but like any all-in-one platform, it has its trade-offs. Some features are absolutely top-notch, while others are more “good enough” rather than best in class. That’s normal for platforms trying to cover so many bases.
For me, I love that I can try out features and see what works, without having to subscribe to even more tools. If I need something more specialized later, I can always add that one tool instead of replacing my whole tech stack.
What I Personally Use GHL For
Here’s a quick look at how I use GoHighLevel in my business right now:
✅ Webinar funnel: warm and cold opt-in pages, success and replay pages, plus email and text reminders with automation. I even track attendance through GHL using trigger links.
✅ Lead funnel for my free Skool group: if someone requests my webinar through the group, GHL automatically sends them an invite — no manual follow-up needed.
✅ Future checkout pages: although most of my checkouts are still on ThriveCart (because I have a lifetime license), I plan to move them over gradually as we update funnels.
If you’d like me to break down exactly how I built my six-figure webinar funnel inside GHL in a future video, visit my youtube and leave a comment to let me know. Subscribe to my channel while you are there!
What I’m Not Using GHL For (Yet)
There are a few things I haven’t moved to GHL, and here’s why:
🚫 Client booking calendars: I still use Google for this and don’t book often enough to prioritize switching.
🚫 My course platform: I use Xperiencify because its built-in accountability and motivation tools boost student success, and that’s more important to me than saving money.
🚫 General email marketing: My newsletters and most automations run through ActiveCampaign. For my niche, deliverability matters, and I prefer to keep my cold webinar traffic separated from my warm list to avoid spam flags.
GHL Drawbacks You Should Know
No software is perfect, and GHL is no exception:
⚠️ Billing isn’t purely flat rate: while you pay a monthly fee, you’ll also pay extra for emails and texts you send. It’s less than a penny per message, but costs can add up for high-volume senders.
⚠️ Platform speed: sometimes it’s a bit slow to load. Not enough to frustrate me, but definitely noticeable.
Who Is GoHighLevel Best For?
I think GoHighLevel is a great fit for:
✔ Coaches
✔ Course creators
✔ Service providers
✔ Agencies
It could work for many other business models too, but I can’t speak directly to e-commerce businesses since I haven’t tested it for that. If you have, please share your experience in the comments — it will help other readers!
If you’re brand new to business or you’re tired of piecing together 20+ different subscriptions, I highly recommend testing out their 30-day free trial (which is double the usual length) to really explore what’s possible.

Final Thoughts
I’m excited to have GoHighLevel as a channel sponsor because I don’t stamp my approval on just anything. I only work with providers I truly believe will take care of my community.
If you’re ready to simplify your business systems, save money, and experiment with one powerful tool, GHL is definitely worth a look.
